Google Maps has been integrated to all areas of the application from masterfiles to processing documents that includes an address, allowing you to obtain a map to a customer or supplier in a click. Lookout for the location pin icon .

The Customer, Vendor and Inventory enquiry screens have been enhanced to allow a separate and secure view into all the general information and settings relating to a Customer, alleviating the need to access the Customer Edit Function or run disparate reports with complete drill-down functionality to all source documents. Below you can find a selection of customer sales. All we did was to drag and drop the Sales Rep then the Item description field and the grid will group automatically. Once information has been grouped and sorted as required, one or more tabs can be emailed or snapped directly into Microsoft Excel for further analysis.

A complete new Business Intelligence OLAP section has been added to the application, with a number of standard Cubes. Each cube contains standard views (or user data groupings and formats) with the ability for users to create an unlimited number of custom data groups and formats per cube.

You can create your own SQL data sets (in the form of views) and attach custom cubes to these views or simply add these cubes to one of our standard views. Each cube, standard or custom, comes with its own user security rights so custom cubes could be created for individuals, such as a sales rep having the ability to have complete Business Intelligence to their sales only. Use conditional formatting and other excel features to highlight anomalies at a glance.

 
Merking skjala

A document Bookmark functionality has also been added to allow you to bookmark any document for later recall and reference. Users can view or select any bookmarked document from any processing screen affording you the option to copy information from these documents to any other document type, offering a 360-Degree copy or quick-reference function by selecting the “Copy Sales Document” menu below. Double clicking on the document from the Bookmark lookup will allow you to drill to the original document.

 

Staða skjala

You can set a document Status type per each processing document, allowing you to manage the status and resulting follow up process. In addition the Status can be changed dynamically without the need to adjust the document itself. If you look at the example below you will see that all the non-transactional information can be modified on-the-fly allowing you to track or edit the relevant document statuses with ease.

We have added the option to Export all reports directly to Microsoft Word or Excel or simply create them as a pdf document as well as the ability to email these documents directly in your chosen format.

The custom system naming conventions has been extended to rename the “Record” button that is used extensively for updating all processing screens throughout the system.

You can now set any user-defined field as Mandatory or leave as options. Should the fields be set as Mandatory and the processor leaves this as blank, the system will auto-invoke the incomplete fields and request the requisite setting. This could be used for Surveys or any other area where specific information is required. With user-defined fields at item line level the opportunities are endless.

When you try and save a Document or Masterfile the system will warn you and Request that you complete all Mandatory Fields before Saving.

  • We have improved the Receipts and Payments journal and added a faint wallpaper within the background to display “RECEIPTS” and “PAYMENTS”, and have also extended the tab selections for ease of viewing. The tab order has also been changed to display the “Payments” tab (as is more commonly used) first as default.
  • We have also included the ability to post to Projects directly from the Receipts and Payments processing screens.

  • A new Trial Balance Movement report has been included allowing you to analyze the account movement between any two dates or periods.

  • A new Print and Preview drop down option has been added to the Journal Entry processing screen. In addition to this, the line Details and the journal header are shown on the Journal Entry report.

  • The Sales Taxes / VAT Report has been enhanced to group transactions by their transactional Source Types including: Purchases, Sales, Payments, Direct Payments, Receipts, General, Bank Recon.
  • A Balance Sheet Actual vs Budget report has been added
  • The value field has been increased in all financial reports to cater for extended digits.

We have renamed “Landed Cost Adjustment” to “Additional Costs”, and have added an Icon Button on the main processing screen toolbar for ease of use. We have added a new editable column called “Additional Costs”, which will you to apportion the costs “Manually” or by using the “Weighted Cost” or by “Weighted Quantity”.

A confirmation has been included, to confirm the overwriting of the Last Paid Price (per unit) when the Last Unit Price is less than the Last Paid Price. In addition we have included a new feature on the “Previous Add Costs” column, where you will be able to view all the Previous Additional costs that have been added to this purchase, and track all Landed Unit changes.

This feature now allows you to maintain additional vendor information relating to an Item to allow you to make an informed decision when ordering Inventory or Services from your Vendors. In addition to this, the system will default the preferred Vendor when creating feehand quotes for a specific item. You also have the option to print your order using your Item codes and descriptions or using this together with your Vendor’s information.

This option will only be available if the “Allow Receipts on Invoice Entry” function has been enabled in the Company Options Setup section.

  • Functions have been added to allow or block the Over receiving of goods from Vendors. If this function is disabled, users will be compelled to either amend the Purchase Order before receiving the goods or create an additional Purchase Order for the additional quantity.
  • Another option has been added to Allow Backorders from Vendors. Should a backorder not be allowed, the open order quantity will be cancelled on the fly.
  • A default Received Quantity option has been included to cater for “Blind Receiving”. This option will give you the option to default the receiving quantity to 1 or leave as the Standard Open Purchase Order Quantity.
  •  
  • A Total Received Quantity has also been added to the GRV, allowing you the ability to manage a “check sum” quantity when receiving goods to Inventory.
  • A “Copied Document Reference” field will list the details of Purchase Orders created from Freehand Quotes or Sales Orders with the ability to drill down to the source document. The Copied Document Reference is maintained on a line by line basis allowing for one goods received note to make reference to multiple Sales Orders.

We have added the ability to “Copy Sales History” on the status bar at the bottom of the Sales processing screens that allows “Sales History” and “Sales Order History” data to be viewed or lines to be copied back to the current processing document. The same facility has been applied to all Purchase documents to view and copy across all Vendor Purchase history as well. This lookup also allows you to change to any Customer or Vendor for advanced copying or lookups offering a complete document copy function. Double clicking on the document from the History lookup will allow you to drill to the original document.

We have included a Local Amount Value in the Receipts function where there is a Foreign value receipt. This alleviated the need to calculate the foreign currency exchange rate to enter the local value. Should the rate of exchange be entered, the local value will be calculated, and vice versa.

This feature allows you to apply discounts on all Customer and Vendor processing documents at both line item level as well as at document total level, catering for a 2-Tier Trade Discount structure. This is supported by a Customer price discount matrix, that allows you to set default discounts on a per customer category per inventory category basis.

In addition to this, security has been added to manage Discount Adjustments by user, and the traditional Quantity and Item Description adjustment setting have been changed from System Level to User Level for Customers and Vendors.

This feature allows you to define a price list as a “List” or a “Markup On Cost” type pricelist. The Markup on Cost pricelist has the ability to change the selling price automatically at the time of receiving or the Manufacturing of stock items, with a set Markup by Item Category. The ability to change the price for increases only, with a full audit trail report on all changes by user and the option to have an unlimited number of customer pricelists, rounds off this feature.

 

Aukin virkni í fríhendistilboðum

The Freehand Quotes Function has been greatly enhanced to allow users to not only create quotes for Prospective Customers and Items, without having to create them until the order has materialized, but also allows you to create the relative Purchases and Sales Documents on the fly, simultaneously, from one central screen. Additionally, the ability to access previously converted Quotes has been added to allow managers to review and report on these documents.

Below you can see that we have created a Quote for 4 items for a Customer. Once accepted the system will allow us to create the client (should a prospective vendor be recorded), add the items or link to an existing item, Create the Purchase Document (Quote, Order or Invoice) and also Create the Customer Document all from one screen. The purchase documents will also retail full references to the quote giving complete traceability throughout as well as at time of stock receiving.

When a Vendor is selected, the program will default the Preferred Vendor for that item and also allow you to amend or even add one or more Vendors of that specific item.

Palladium has an advanced UpSell Functionality that allows you to set an unlimited number of “UpSell” Items with settings for Optional Dynamic Prompting per processing Document. This feature makes it simple for new employees to sell specialised products with little experience of the business, ensuring maximised revenue potential at all times.

In addition to this, each processing document has its own UpSell function that, when seleted, will display all upsell items for all items on the Document allowing users to discuss these discretely with the client.

This feature can also be used to create Kits or Groups of items in a Template-Type format while linking all, or certain items in one common group format.

The Credit Note Request function allows users to create a Credit Note Request Form and have this authorized before being converted to a credit note. In addition to this, the Credit Note Reason Code functionality ensures that all returns are categorised so that they can be scrutinised and managed accordingly.

This powerful function allows you to create a Purchase Order from the details of one or more Sales Orders, allowing you to just select the items and pull them through, on the fly, without the need to recapture any details.

The Integration to your Vendors Accounting Software packages is the new generation in eBusiness that allows you to integrate with you Vendors in a most effective manner while making the move to a greener, paperless environment. With our new-generation integration you will never have to call Vendors for stock pricing or even availability again. The integration is a Direct Link to the ERP database ensuring that orders “sent” are authenticated on the Vendor side on a real-time basis. Not only can you send orders to your Vendors but you can receive updated product pricing, receive new stock items created as well as the related stock images directly into your system and can even query available stocks on hand. 

 

Afhendingarleiðir með auknum möguleikum á vörudreifingu og útskipun

The current shipping and consignment groupage function has been enhanced to include Delivery Routes with allocations to a specific drivers and selections across multiple customers. In addition to this a default “packing order” field has been added to recommend a placement for that specific customers delivery within the vehicle. This is particularly valuable when delivering perishables or delicate items as it eliminates the need to search for parcels and optimizes the entire distribution process. The ability to print Packing Lists and Shipment Manifests rounds off this valuable feature for the discerning warehouse manager.

  • Personalised Customer pricelists can now be sent to clients or printed with the option to supress Zero-Priced items with Bulk e-Mailing at the click of a button.
  • Calculate Prices – Included “No Increase”, so the original pricing will be saved.

A new Pricelist update option has been included to allow the updating of Multiple Pricelists optionally filtering by Inventory Category.
